Platinum Petroleum’s
joint venture company (JVC) Gulf Petroleum Services owns and operates
proprietary technologies for the recovery of hydrocarbons from oilfield
and refinery wastes, e.g.: slop oil, sludge.
The GPS process incorporates a combination of physical, gravity-based,
shearing, heat (steam) and chemical technologies to separate hydrocarbon
from liquids, solids and sludge. Equipment used in the process includes
reactor and disc centrifuges, specialized pumps and reactor vessels
and a steam boiler.

Our recovery process yields reclaimed hydrocarbon (BS&w 0.5%) suitable
for reprocessing in the refinery.
GPS recovery system is a three stage process which uses a variety
of equipment modules and proprietary compatible chemical technologies
depending on the nature of the project.
We have completed hydrocarbon separation projects in Mexico, Canada
and the United States.
GPS operates in compliance with all environmental legislation and
we strive to exceed current environmental standards. We believe
minimizing our potential impact on the environment and even improving
